How much BUBBLE WRAP is too much BUBBLE WRAP?


How much can we guard yourself from hurts that might come towards you? Can you ever be too careful?

I'd say 'YES'.

It can be a bit too much till we find yourself wound up in a fix of bubble wrap struggling to get out. And when we do, we realize that we've missed out on something because we were too busy entangling ourselves from our own web.

When some people express any indifferences, we'd take it personally & quickly make a run for it as fast as we can to re-wrap ourselves cos we're AFRAID!!
At times, we feel that we're stuck in an unescapable moment where u need to be open/vulnerable to people and again, we run!
You see, we know the bubble-wrap will eventually wear-off but sometimes, we just need to know/feel that there is a layer of PROTECTION.

the circle:
bubble.wrap --> bursts/wears.off --> run

Question is - How FAR can we run?

I think I can safely say that all of us have our own 'bubble-wraps' in different shades & sizes to shield us from the 'what-nots'.

Recently, He has told me that HE will be my bubble-wrap... *mixed expressions*

I KNOW!! It's weeeeirrrrd huh???!!!

It's weird how God reveals silly things like that to us BUT nevertheless I'm glad He's still ever so reassuring... xD
